bbf: shares insights on growth, investment and sustainable development at the 3rd Cyprus Diaspora Forum 2026

bbf: participated in the 3rd Cyprus Diaspora Forum 2026, held from 6–9 May at the Amara Hotel in Limassol. The forum brought together approximately 1,800 attendees, including more than 250 investors, 180 speakers and senior government officials, creating a platform for dialogue on investment, innovation and Cyprus' future growth opportunities.

Representing bbf:, Chief Marketing Officer Artem Burtsev joined the panel discussion "Real Estate and Investment: Cyprus as a Destination for Growth", where he highlighted the importance of strengthening Cyprus' international profile to attract new audiences and investment opportunities.

Burtsev noted that Cyprus' appeal lies in its unique combination of lifestyle, safety and business advantages, while emphasizing the need for developers to move beyond standardized approaches and deliver distinctive, human-centric projects that meet the expectations of modern buyers and investors.

"Cyprus offers a unique package that continues to resonate with international audiences," said Burtsev. "To remain competitive, developers must create differentiated experiences that prioritise people, community and long-term value while making sustainability a meaningful part of everyday living."

At the panel discussion "The Future of Hospitality and Tourism in Cyprus: Smart, Sustainable, and Authentic",Andronikos Spyrou, Project Manager for Berengaria and Land of Tomorrow, discussed the growing importance of authenticity and sustainability in shaping the future of tourism.

Using the restoration of the historic Berengaria Hotel as an example, Spyrou outlined how bbf: approaches sustainability as a value driver, combining the preservation of cultural heritage with environmentally conscious infrastructure to create meaningful, long-term benefits for both visitors and local communities.

By engaging with investors, business leaders and members of the global Cypriot community, bbf: underscored its commitment to supporting Cyprus' international positioning and creating projects that generate lasting economic and social value.
